The Demonic Sallie House

The Ghosts of The Squirrel Cage Jail
EVIL SPINS in America's Most Unique and Haunted Jail! The spirits of former inmates and guards are said to haunt the bars that once confined them, and Ryan and Dave will stay the night to find out if this Jail still incarcerates some of Iowa's most feared criminals even after death. There is no other Jail like the Historic Pottawattamie County Squirrel Cage Jail. It was one of 18 revolving (“squirrel cage”, "human rotary", or "lazy Susan") jails built. It is the only three-story one ever made. Built at a cost of about $30,000, this unique jail has three floors of revolving pie-shaped cells inside a cage. The front part of the building had offices for the jailer, kitchen, trustee cells, and quarters for women. In 1969, the jail closed it's doors for good, but when the Pottawattamie County Historical Society purchased the building in January 1979 stories began to circulate about paranormal activity that plagued the volunteers who were restoring the jail for it's use as a museum. Edinburg Manor is said to be Iowa's MOST HAUNTED Asylum! Many brave visitors have left with life-changing paranormal experiences. Ryan and Dave will spend the night in search of ghostly evidence of life after death. Once the poor farm for Jones County, Iowa this land was said to be cursed before the Manor was ever built. From 1850 - 1910, the poor, criminals, or those with nowhere to go would find shelter at the poor farm in exchange for physical labor. Many people spent the rest of their lives here unable to escape the cycle of the Jones County Poor House. In 1910 the farm closed and by 1911 a new structure was built in its place to house the incurably insane, the poor and the elderly. This structure would be called Edinburg Manor. Edinburgh Manor, also referred to as The Manor, was in operation until November 2010 when it closed due to insufficient funds. Our Terrifying Night Inside A Haunted Pirate Cave
This cave is steeped in Pirate history, and tonight we're going to see if it's HAUNTED! The first European to come this cave was M. de Lery of France, who found it in 1739 and called it "caverne dans Le Roc". Quickly after its discovery, it became a commodity for criminal gangs for almost 100 years. In 1797 a man named Samuel Mason stumbled across the cave. Mason held an interest in piracy and frequently robbed boats moving up and down the river. From this cave he expanded his gang through fear. Very little of the pirate gang's activity was documented as they flew under the radar to surprise unsuspecting vessels moving up and down the river. It is believed once the sailors and boat crews fell into their trap, they were robbed and murdered. In 1799 two men named Micajah and Wiley Harpe travelled to the cave to join the gang. Over a decade ago, Dave had one of his most terrifying paranormal experiences here at this camp, and now we are BACK to see if we can capture proof of what haunts this sacred ground. 250 years ago this land was used a camp for Native and Indigenous people. They would stay here while traveling or hunting, because of the rock shelter that protected them from the weather and other dangers. In 1772, a group of 12 hunters was staying at the camp when they were ambushed and slaughtered by frontiersman. In 1913 a normal school was built on this land to give local students a higher education to help them become educators themselves. We are shocked to find out the apartment we rented for 2 days in Buffalo, NY is actually haunted! We also may have picked up an attachment from it! We travelled to Buffalo, NY to investigate a haunted location on day 2 of our trip. When we arrived after traveling for 6 hours we discover the apartment we rented for 2 days seems to be creepier than we anticipated. A Chilling Family Secret
A family owns a very unique type of haunting! A possible doorway for paranormal activity that allows spirits to travel between places, buildings, and locations. America's Most HAUNTED Almshouse
We spend the night searching for paranormal activity in America's Most Haunted Almshouse! Sitting in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, this beautiful Georgian Revival style building hides a dark past. Many believe that those who were forced to live here in filth and squaller may have never left its thick and foreboding walls. This 19th Century home was converted into a Poor Farm, to help the homeless of Greene County, PA. In the following decades, before the turn of the century, abuse, neglect, torture, and murder plagued this historic building. Today, this 52 room museum is thought to be haunted by its past, and haunted by 1,000 souls who were unfortunate enough to find themselves condemned for good.
The Haunting of Dunkirk Lighthouse
This beautiful lighthouse was built in 1875 to replace the tower that had previously been there since 1826. Its job was to alert vessels of the shoreline and the dangers that come with sailing too close. There were countless shipwrecks here on Lake Erie despite the warnings, and many believe that the spirits of those lost in the water may have followed the light looking for safety. The ghosts of soldiers are also said to haunt the property as well, both from the war of 1812 and from WWII and Vietnam. TERROR of TUNNEL 13
Is this tunnel haunted by the ghosts of those who died there decades ago? Join us as we journey into this dark train tunnel to find out! On May 31, 1956 a B&O passenger train entered tunnel no.13 at Bond's Creek on a normal journey. Waiting for the engine on the other side of the tunnel was a massive rock slide that derailed the train, causing it to wreck and cascade over the bridge and into Bond's Creek. The HAUNTED Tunnels Below Cresson Sanatorium and Prison
Cresson Sanatorium and Prison could very well be one of the most haunted places on earth! Its short 97 year history was filled with tragedy as it first opened in 1916 as a Tuberculosis Sanatorium to treat people who were battling the deadly disease in human history. Many lost the fight against consumption as the hospital searched for the cure, and many believe the lost souls of patients still wander the halls of the many buildings still left here. In 1956 the hospital started to house patients with severe developmental disabilities and mental illness and was called the Lawrence Flick State Hospital. It's believed some of these patients may still haunt these halls as well. In 1983 the hospital closed and was empty for 4 years while the state of Pennsylvania spent $20.6 million to convert the complex into a prison. Paranormal Activity in a HAUNTED Civil War Hospital
The Nickerson Snead House was built circa 1835, however, the original log portion was built in the 1700s by Francis Kincannon. During this period it was used as a fort during the Revolutionary War and the French and Indian War. Dr. Nickerson Snead and his wife Betsy Snead built this beautiful historic home. It was a field hospital Civil War hospital and the cellar was used as a morgue. The Nickerson Snead House is home to several spirits including Betsy (The Woman in Blue), a little girl, and a little boy (presumably Josephine and Douglas Mason). Today, visitors have been greeted by full body apparitions, ghostly voices, phantom footsteps, poltergeist phenomena, and many other types of paranormal activity. Knowing the history of this house, we are excited to spend the night to see if we can capture this paranormal activity on camera, to see if the Nickerson Snead House truly is haunted.
Paranormal Activity DOCUMENTED In Abandoned Jail
The Williams County Jail and Sheriff's Department was built in 1869 to replace a small log jail which served the town for 25 years. Criminal Offenders were house here to await trial until the 1990s, and over the years the place gained a reputation for being haunted. A newspaper article was written in the mid 20th century about the paranormal experiences occurring inside the jail. They believed the ghost of an executed murderer from 1847 had come back to haunt the jail and those who operated it. As the years went on, more stories of ghosts and haunting started to pile up. In recent years, the jail sits almost empty (except for a few pieces of furniture and trinkets purchased at estate sales), but visitors claim to hear the voices of spirits calling out to them from within the cells.
