The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum is one of the worst examples of how America handled the crisis of mental health. Human beings were dropped off here and help against their will, experimented upon with electroshock and lobotomy procedures, and some never left these sandstone walls. Thousands of people are said to have lost their lives while in captivity at the Weston State Hospital and many believe their spirits never left. Intense paranormal activity is captured by those who enter these doors and some have left screaming at the supernatural experiences they had.
