Make It Again, Sam

This week, the episode illustrates how good properties in films are repeated over and over again. It even opens with Ida Lupino singing “Again.” Tom Bosley leads us through some of the remakes of popular movies. Some of the remakes reflected different settings and, different titles, but the stories remained the same. Movies viewed include remakes of “State Fair,” ‘Bird of Paradise," “Folies Bergere” and “Thanks a Million.” Films like ‘State Fair,” ‘A Star Is Born," “The Three Musketeers’ and many more are recycled, and some repeated properties turn up under different titles. How to make movies over and over again is what Haley is demonstrating in this entertaining outing.
