Animal photographer Iwago Mitsuaki travels to Seattle. While IT companies, mail-order businesses and other businesses have sprung up here, the city is also blessed with such lush greenery that it is nicknamed the Emerald City. Amid the greenery, he spots cats strolling around wearing colorful bandanas and a fuzzy white cat lurking in the bushes in a residential area. He also photographs cats in the great outdoors. He travels to the Olympic Peninsula, west of Seattle. In a forest surrounded by mountains, he meets some cats led by a girl who is skilled at imitating animal sounds. He even has a sound-imitating battle with the girl, Iwago.
