In this popular series, animal photographer Iwago Mitsuaki travels around the world photographing cats. This time he travels to the Nordic island of Iceland. At a ranch spread across lava land formed by volcanic activity, he meets cats playing with horses and kittens who use a cavity formed in the ground as their playground. The wind is strong and the natural environment is harsh, but the cats are very energetic. In Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, cats are important partners to the citizens. He encounters cats at the city hall, in the square, and in residential areas. He also managed to capture a touching scene at a goat ranch.
