Apart from revealing the reason why her mother is reluctant to get rid of her old phone, CHOR-KIN also recalls and talks about the fire that broke out on 9 September 2009 resulting in her giving up her previous position as a reporter. TIN-SUNG tells CHOR-KIN that he is considering returning to the glass workshop, and get his old designing job back. OI-LAM is wondering why the phone can function normally when CHOR-KIN calls TIN-SUNG, however, the connection failure occurs again when she tries to contact TIN-SUNG by phone. On the street, OI-LAM sees that LAU-KUEN is riding on CHI-ON's motorcycle, and the pair behave very intimately, so she calls and tells her daughter right away.
