The hut where Safiye left her baby burns down. Fatma and Safiye are devastated, believing the baby is dead. When the fire department arrives and puts out the fire, it becomes clear that Demirhan is not inside. Demirhan is missing. Mavi blames Ali for Demirhan's disappearance because he hid her aunt's whereabouts. She is very angry with Ali and files for divorce. Ali doesn't object and signs the documents Mavi brings. Everyone, especially Ali and Cemal, is searching for Demirhan. Safiye asks Elmas, who worked as a maid in Refika's mansion years ago, for help. Elmas's appearance disturbs Refika.
