Series 1 - Disc 2 - Bonus Scene - Sinking of the Yamato

When Japan's mega-popular animated TV series "Space Battleship Yamato" was converted to "Star Blazers" in 1979, more than the name was altered for American viewers. Many scenes were edited from the animation to decrease the level of violence and several Asian cultural references. One of the most fascinating edits was this sequence, cut from episode 2, in which we look back at the sinking of the original battleship Yamato in 1944.
