Pilot, "The Kitten Rescuers"

Jo Brand presents a documentary special following RSPCA inspectors, vets and volunteers, as they attempt to rescue cats and kittens who have been neglected or abandoned. Inspector Leanne Hardy investigates when cats are abandoned in a Liverpool flat and Inspector Anthony Joynes goes on the hunt for some elusive stray kittens. Jewel needs surgery on two broken legs after falling 3 floors from a balcony, and Jo meets 4 lively stray kittens named Dusty, Cement, Marble and Willy Wonka! We learn about a new initiative for dealing with multi-cat households set up by vet Kayley Hill and meet pet owner Mary with 30 cats and struggling to let them go, Jo helps socialise Adamite and Amethyst, and we find out the treatment plan for cats from the multi-cat household featured earlier in the show.
