On the first day of school, Nobita panics because he still hasn’t finished his summer homework. Using Doraemon’s “What-If Phone Booth” without permission, he creates a world where nobody is allowed to scold anyone. At first Nobita loves this carefree world, but when Doraemon travels to the 22nd century for his birthday reunion, he discovers the rule has affected the future as well, where scolding is now illegal. After accidentally reprimanding some children, Doraemon is arrested and sent to a robot detention center. Nobita must then find a way to save him in an emotional story about their friendship and bond.
