This week Harry Knowles' basement gets even cooler when he shows us Max Fleischer's hand. You know, Max Fleischer... He was a contemporary of Walt Disney and creator of cartoons like the madcap and mischievous Out of the Inkwell featuring Koko the Clown. Boiler returns to spew more fire and vicious vitriol (mostly about Michael Bay again). Writer and critic Christopher Cargill stops by to discuss his latest endeavor, a movie he wrote starring Ethan Hawke, and then discusses children-in-peril films with Harry.
