Meet the reps of Gran Canaria

It's the start of the season in the buzzing resort of Playa del Ingles, home to boss ASH and his team for the next six months. The hours are long, the pace is relentless and it's their job to make sure the holidaymakers have an unforgettable time. It's not for the fainthearted but the reps of Gran Canaria are out to prove they can do it. It's ASH's first year as Area Controller â€“ aka the boss - and he knows how tough it is. Reps are with their guests from 10am to 2am and are on call 24 hours a day. Second in command is Brummie MAX â€“ seasoned veteran and party animal whose job it is to help the first years learn fast. Micky Gets A Thump In The Night

The little brother of the club reps family finds himself in a terrifying situation this week when helping a guest from another company whoâ€™s been mugged. As he tries to comfort the girl, her boyfriend turns up, jumps to the wrong conclusions and takes it out on Micky. Ash and Max hear a frightened Mickyâ€™s account of what happened and Ash takes him to the Clinic to get his bruised head checked out. The incident has clearly affected the rest of the team as an angry Max explains, â€œweâ€™re a team, weâ€™re a familyâ€. Boss Ash is quick off the mark to confront the guy who reckoned Micky was up to no good with his girlfriend and demands to know what happened. The hostile holidaymaker explains, asking Ash, â€œsay it was your girlfriend and you came back at half two in the morning and found a fella in here... what way would you react?â€ Ash coolly replies, â€œwere they naked?
