BEN comes to realize it is all a plot by SAM and MAY. He flies into a rage and tells them off for making use of his sympathy. LING cannot make it to the celebration party for VINCENT, for she wants to stay with BEN to give him succor and consolation. After BEN has returned home, LING phones VINCENT. Over the phone, VINCENT sounds a little indifferent and gives the impression that he wants to end the call as soon as possible. But to her surprise, VINCENT is waiting for her outside her home. YU is accused of stealing his relative’s jewelry. Having been cheated once, BEN tends not to trust others too easily. He questions YU as if he is a convict. Realizing that BEN’s attitude may just make things worse, JESSICA tries to stop him and offers to handle the case.
