Episode 2
The series takes a look at the life of builder Harry Dale who moved over to the Dordogne from Essex with his wife Denise in 2002. He is getting ready for an emotional reunion with his six sisters and ninety-three year old mum who are planning a visit to France. Julia Grant runs Eymet’s Shampoo Chiens, and the series finds out what made her take the big leap that brought her and her dogs to France.
Episode 3
Documentary following a former newspaper photographer who quit his job in Britain to work daily eight-hour shifts in the vineyards of Dordogne, and a couple who built France's only lawn bowls club and green in their back garden. An expat also talks about uniting with the local French community to share a passion for music as part of the Eymet Choir. Narrated by Geoffrey Palmer.

Retired Army pilot Andy Spillane talks about his alpaca farm, which he runs with wife Nicky, and there is a look at how some expats still get their home comforts while in Dordogne. Plus, dog breeder and groomer Julia Grant, originally from Dorset, flies the flag for Britain in a local dog show. Narrated by Geoffrey Palmer.

Peter Murphy and Michelle Pipe host a France v England fishing competition on their lake, and hazelnut farmers Jim and Sheila High receive support from friends after they suffer a family bereavement. Bridget Beattie, who moved to Dordogne from Nottinghamshire in 2005, talks about her role teaching expats the art of beekeeping.
