When Two People Leave Each Other / Love Is in the Air

After shutting Viola out of his thoughts, Emanuele has thrown himself into studying and prepared a 1,400-page thesis aimed at impressing Ugolino. Meanwhile, Paolo feels like a failure and tells Cristina they'll soon find a new house to move into. Paolo doesn't have the courage to tell Laura he doesn't want her to leave. Laura, too, is eagerly awaiting these words, but neither of them can bring themselves to tell the other. Emanuele and Cristina, still struggling with their final exams, must deal with an unknown and very mean professor.
