Gino and his increasingly numerous friends are about to reach the island of Libertatia on a raft when they are blocked by Ma', who has transformed into a sea monster. Gino, however, discovers Ma's weak point and with a barrage of ironic comments on her totally out of her look, forces the vain polypona to retreat. While Chief Colby, furious, blocks the shipment of strawberries to the octopus, Gino & Co. finally land in Libertatia, where they meet Gronk, an enormous digitosaur with a kind heart...
