John Ansell: Block One

Its night 4 of a weeklong food fight where 5 strangers compete for the title of “Host with the Most”. Playing his hand this evening is dancing queen John Ansell, an endearing fancy foodie with a serious competitive streak. Determined not to let the dramatics of the previous evening destroy his night John serves up an impressive appetizer of pancetta and crab stuffed shrimp. Louie and Mary dive head first into a box of flamboyant fun while Aris and Kailey idly observe. With John feeling confident he moves on to his main course of Prime Rib, which receives some wordy mixed reviews. But John heats up the competition once more when he serves up a fittingly flaming dessert of white chocolate crème brulee and berries. Will John’s fancy feast warm the hearts of this cranky crew or will it leave them cold?
