Nerissa Grant: Block Two

It’s the grand finale of a weeklong food fight where 5 strangers have been battling it out for the grand prize of $1000. Tonight’s host Nerissa plans on winning by throwing on a sophisticated and stylish soiree. But the claws are out and fellow competitors Tammy, Louis-Michel, Stephen and Shareen will stop at nothing to make sure nit-picky Nerissa gets a taste of her own medicine. To kick off her classy menu, Nerissa brings out a surprise amuse bouche but is offended when Tammy refuses to taste it. Try as they might the guests find little fault with her appetizer; arugula salad with pouched pears and brie. For the main course, Nerissa serves Chilean Sea Bass with chili lime salsa, parsnip mash, roast potatoes and asparagus. But when Shareen finds glass in her food Nerissa is sure she smells sabotage. Finally it’s time for dessert; orange and ginger crème brulee. Tonight the winner is announced. Will Nerissa be able to wow her catty competition? Or will the perfectionists’ party be anything but?
