Two teams from West Virginia go head to head: Tony, Jeff, and Matt of Appalachee Paranormal and Jackie, Mandy, and Stacey of G.A.L.S. Paranormal (Ghosts, Apparitions, and Lost Souls) investigate the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, a former psychiatric hospital that is believed to be one of the country's most haunted sites.
