KIU returns the key ring to FUN at the Ling Shing Clinic. She swears to prove her ability and work ethic to him. HANG is pleased when his grandmother CHOW KUK comes back to Hong Kong from Canada. KWAN tells SHEUNG that a patient Mrs FOK has a heart disorder and he wants to transfer her to the Ling Shiu Hospital. He also wants HANG to be in charge of her case. HANG is delighted to see CHING, who is raising some money on the street. He brings a cheque to the Lung Shing Clinic the next day, which makes FUN realise that HANG likes CHING. Mrs CHIN’s foetus is placed too far forward, which might endanger her and her baby’s lives. FUN agrees to deliver her even though it is highly risky. KIU is thankful for FUN asking her to help in the surgery. Mrs FOK interrogates HANG about whether he is confident about the operation. She even brings up about his mother CHI’s death.
