Mark Chapman introduces highlights of the Premier League match between Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park. The home side are looking to make amends for their 4-0 defeat to Spurs in the League Cup third round last month. Goals from Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and a brace from Jermain Defoe gave the visitors a comfortable win, although the hosts were controversially denied a clear-cut penalty early in the second half. Tottenham also won 4-0 on their last Premier League visit to Villa Park, with Gareth Bale scoring a hat-trick. The Welshman has since left White Hart Lane to join Real Madrid, but the Londoners have reinvested the proceeds from his sale, purchasing exciting talents such as Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela.
