The teams started drinking heavily and ran into trouble when they braved the snow-covered heights of the Tosor Pass, an unpaved mountain pass at an altitude of 3,893 meters. The challenging conditions, combined with the extreme altitude and rugged terrain, made the trek particularly risky and demanded the utmost physical and mental effort from everyone involved.
