Five national treasures, Michael Buerk, Lord John Prescott, Amanda Barrie, Shaun Williamson and Anita Harris travel down some of England's prettiest and most historic canals. They potter through the potteries, drift over aqueducts and past water mills, finally ending up in the heart of Shakespeare country. It's a gentle jaunt where friendships flourish with warm humour and great camaraderie.
