It's all too much for an anxious Daniel as he returns to work. After a day from hell, he spots Megan and lays into her for ruining his life. Is Megan in danger? Summer tells Todd she's considering pleading guilty to manslaughter. Todd asks Lisa if he can have his phone back from the police, but it turns out they've never had it.
A distraught Daniel realises Jodie is his troll. Drunk, he passes out, leaving Bertie to try to make his own dinner. Soon, smoke starts pouring out from the kitchen... Lisa moans to Carla about her new boss DI Thompson and how she's happy to let Summer take the rap for Theo's murder without looking at the other suspects.
When Jodie makes a veiled dig at David about him saying her name when he climbed into bed with her, David squirms and wonders whether to tell Shona. Brody's doing well working for Idris but Leanne is worried and grills Idris about the work he's giving the teenager, believing it might be something dodgy.
Maria tells Gary that Sarah forgot Bethany's birthday, Gary leaps to Sarah's defence. Brody's arrested for theft after his fingerprints are found all over Todd's phone.
