Vika has a 12-year-old daughter, Sonchik. Vika married Levon 16 years ago. Her close friend, Kara, married Nshan 8 years ago. Kara is doubly unhappy. Masha, another friend of Vika, takes music lessons from Vika's mother. They often meet as friends in a cafe, and their husbands meet in a pub.
