Episode 1
Kim takes us to his sanctuary, where he’s prepared a gilt-head bream. Unfortunately, he’s having major trouble with the salt crust and seasoning on his fish. Ann Van Elsen is cooking ribs as black as night. She doesn’t want to serve baby food to her husband, so Piet steps in to help elevate her vegetables and marinade to a higher culinary level.

Jurgen is a barbecue enthusiast with a twofold problem: his stuffed pork tenderloin tastes great, but it’s falling apart, and his jacket potatoes aren’t popping up at the right moment. Veronique’s shrimp look good, but lack flavor—and to make matters worse, her sauce is splattering everywhere. Fortunately, Piet is on hand to lend a helping hand.

Patjes Grill House strives to serve perfection. The savory waffles look delicious, but could still use a little more flavor. BBQ dishes aren’t always easy, as Sarah—a major social media star—knows all too well. Piet rushes in to help craft a true “masterpiece.”

He wants to serve a massive côte à l’os to the whole family, but with his reputation for producing blackened exteriors and raw interiors, he’s in desperate need of help.
