Shugen disregarded Kaoyin's objections and took it upon himself to go find Luo Tai, saying that Kaoyin wanted to invite her to dinner that night to make amends. Luo Tai, who prefers gentle persuasion over forceful demands, agreed to the dinner after seeing that Kaoyin was the one making the effort.
