Metcal MX-500 "Repair"

I have a failing Metcal MX-500 and decided to see if I could make it work. That really bugs me I couldn't "solve" the issue. Maybe it will come back, maybe it wont. It's hard to say. In the mean time I'm going to make the fixed one my workhorse iron so I can be somewhat sure that it's working. I think I'm going to try making a 3D printed hand piece that holds both irons as a ghetto talon.
