Night Patrol
A major disturbance interrupts training and the entire team is on high alert. Meanwhile, PC Keith Edisbury and horse Saxby come across a wanted man whilst out on patrol.
Crowd Control
An alcohol-fuelled crowd puts the team's training to the test; the horses have had a challenging day, particularly PC Fiona and Fairfax who have dealt with a burglary.
Demonstration Duty
One of the biggest anti-war demonstrations of the year needs controlling, so the team is on it; not everyone is happy, however, as Sawyer the horse makes his presence felt.
Exercising The Horses
The team is on the hunt for a gang of youths who have been terrorising the neighbourhood. Plus, a watery encounter on a late-night patrol tests young horse Pip.
Off To Greener Pastures
It is a sad day in the unit as two of the longest serving horses bid farewell. However, despite the sad farewell, new recruits are ready and waiting to be tested by the chief inspector.
Settling Into The New Stable
At last, the horses are able to return home to their newly refurbished stables and they prove their worth at the Manchester football derby.
High Alert
Chief Inspector Lynn Roby and Stable Manager Kim Bailey go shopping for new equine recruits, but an alert is raised as the threat of terrorism looms.
Manchester At Night
Sawyer proudly leads the way at Manchester's Pride Parade, while the new recruits get a sober reminder of the risks involved in becoming a mounted officer as tragedy strikes.
New Shoes
The horses of the Greater Manchester Police mounted unit get a visit from the farrier who keeps them on patrol; the Mounted Branch unit prepare for one of the busiest nights of the year as they help to police two raucous football matches.
Festival Fireworks
Zinnon the farrier gives an important lesson in shoeing horses, while Marley and Saxby show off their skills at an event.
Testing New Recruits
Chief Inspector Roby assesses a dressage test, and it is a nail-biting wait for the contestants to see who comes out on top. The team encounters reckless behaviour out on patrol.
Fire Training
An intensive training session leads the team into dangerous ground as they come face to face with petrol bombs.
The Recruits' Final Challenge
It is crunch time for the new recruits as they face their final test but have they got what it takes to make it as mounted officers?
