Episode 2

After the surrender of Germany in 1945, Europe was grounded. The war had destroyed not only bridges and hospitals, but also families. Hundreds of thousands of children, many of them orphans, were left to fend for themselves. And now they would also be used as war booty in the reconstruction of the continent. They were sorted and selected and for those who did not comply, a hellish struggle for survival began that would last for years.
