Börü assists Vizier Saladin, creating significant problems for Lord Guy's Crusader army. Merchant Rakif is captured by Saladin. King Amalrik is angered by Lord Guy's failure. Emir Yaruki, attempting to rescue other captured lords, is captured by Count Chatillon, who suspects an informant within their ranks. The Fatimid Caliph orders Karategin's execution for killing Cevher. Sultan Nureddin mourns his brother Melik Mevdud and vows revenge, tasking Börü with avenging his brother's death. Börü must now undertake this critical mission.
