13th June 2002: World Cup 2002: Groups C & G

A look back at a day which saw Groups C and G decided. Footballing giants Brazil and Italy were both in action. In South Korea, Brazil -featuring a possible line-up of stars including Cafu, Juninho, Rivaldo and a revitalised Ronaldo - played Costa Rica and China faced Turkey, while in Japan it was Italy, with its host of world-class strikers in Totti, Del Piero , Inzaghi and Delvecchio, against Mexico and Ecuador v Croatia.
