Lacchu Bai, Janki Bai and Sakhu Bai are told about the message to prepare the palace for Gangadhar and Manu's wedding. After Indu's wedding, Vahini Saheb goes to a temple. There she meets Gangadhar who seeks her blessing for his prayers to be fulfilled. Moropant tells Vahini Saheb about Gangadhar's decision to marry Manu and that Gangadhar is ready to accept the Peshwa's decision. Vahini Saheb meets the Peshwa and convinces him to allow Gangadhar to marry Manu, and the Peshwa agrees.
