Laxmibai convinces Gangadhar Rao that Ganga is fit to become the queen of Jhansi. Gangadhar Rao remains unconvinced and points out that Ganga is not from a royal family. Laxmibai counters him by telling him that even she did not hail from a prominent family. But Gangadhar walks away. Moropant tries to console Laxmibai. Laxmibai tells Daima that she seriously wants Ganga to become the queen of Jhansi. Laxmibai convinces Ganga to accept the proposal. Laxmibai is happy when Ganga accepts. Laxmibai announces in the court that Ganga will be Gangadhar's bride. While announcing to the court about the new queen, Laxmibai faints. Daima discovers that Laxmibai is actually pregnant. Daima comes to know that the royal physician and Jankibai have conspired to hide Laxmibai's pregnancy for their own selfish plans. Jankibai warns Daima not to speak about it to anyone.
