Gangadhar welcomes Moropant as a minister on his first day in Jhansi court. Fraser is shocked to see his British soldiers in disguise at Gangadhars court. Fraser promises to punish his errant soldiers. Moropant is shocked to see Manu as the prisoner Kranti Guru in the court. Samar too is present in the court. Gangadhar asks Kranti Guru to reveal her identity. Laxmibai states that she has not committed any crime. Laxmibai denies the accusation that she is a criminal and tells everyone how she hates the British. Gangadhar accuses her of trying to steal the treasury but praises her bravery as a woman. Laxmibai asks him to check the royal treasury. Everyone wants to see the person behind the veil. Laxmibai puts two conditions before revealing herself. She asks Gangadhar to pardon all the taxes levied on the farmers. Her second condition is that Gangadhar defeat her in a flag game. Gangadhar agrees to both the conditions.
