The wedding preparations are in full swing. Manu remembers her mother and gets emotional. Motibai tells her that she will always stand by Manu as an elder sister. Moropant gets gifts for Gangadhars mother as per tradition. Gangadhar tells him that Aaishri is like a mother to him. Moropant invites her to the traditional wedding meal. Jankibai tries to instigate Aaishri by pointing out that the priest for the wedding has not yet come. Aashri gets angry and leaves the meal.
