Ngai-Kwai is shocked and falls ill when he hears that Fung succeeds in buying the controlling shares of his company. Cho-Kwan _returns home to look after him on hearing the news. The father and daughter for once understand each other and forget about the unhappy past. Chun-Kit suggests selling some of the Neal's properties in order to rescue the business from bankruptcy. Ngai-Kwai strongly disagrees as he thinks the action will affect the company's image. Chun-Kit has to think of other solutions. Chun-Kit discovers that Yiu-Kwok has been involved in illegal transactions and with proof on his hands. he demands Fang to stop buying shares of Ngai's company. Afraid of being charged. Yiu-Kwok implores Fung to call off his acquisition move. Fung insists on his plan, when Fun: finds out that his son is selling off Ngai’s shares and destroying his plan, he becomes furious.
