Carmine devises a plan with Pino's help to get Pirucchio out of isolation. Filippo senses what's going on and disowns Carmine as a friend to shake him from his revenge intentions. Gemma reads the letter Fabio sent her and struggles with her feelings for him. Filippo and Naditza are further and further apart because the girl has agreed to marry one of his cousins.
