Episode 5

HING asks WONG to send LIN some valuable medicine and his kind act impresses LIN. FA sends HUI to collect rent from the peasants. On his way, he meets a pregnant woman who is going to give birth to her baby. HUI helps her to deliver the baby and asks PING to take care of her and the baby. His behavior impresses PING. CHUNG has to leave Tor a while. LIN and PING sew shoes for him and CHUNG states that he loves PING instead of LIN. LIN is discontented. WAN wants to marry YING. In order to avenge, LIN helps WAN this time. CHUNG elopes with YING but WAN catches up. In chaos, WAN is pushed downstairs and he has to rest. He becomes hot-tempered. CIN is scolded by LONG. Hatred grows in her heart, being fertilized by her unpleasant experience. She decides to kill LONG.
