CHO-AN looks for Uncle SHING and Uncle SHING lends him the diary for crosschecking if any relevant letters can be found inside. The antique horseshoe cup that HOK-YAN lent to his friend Mr DING is stolen by the thief. Mr DING asks CHO-AN to carry out investigation. CHO-AN solves the case swiftly and HOK-YAN appreciates him very much. TUNG-NEI invites CHO-AN to have dinner with her parents. CHO-AN reveals what his mother had told him about his father to them. CHO-AN tries to pursue TUNG-NEI according to inspirations from the diary and TUNG-NEI is deeply touched. TUNG-NEI suspects that CHO-AN’s allergy to eggs is a psychological problem. She believes that something bad had happened before and CHO-AN recalls the time when he was 6 years old.
