The acquisition bid involves a lot of legal problems and arouses suspicion from ICAC. Jai Ming is invited to provide information therefore making Tung Shing very nervous who is also doubtful of Tai Ming's statement. Tai Ming engages in a lot of illegal activities during his help to expand the business of Tung Shing and he has been feeling uneasy all the way. When he knows that Tung Shing grooms Kam On to help him, Tai Ming thinks that it's a very good opportunity for him to retreat from the business slowly.
