Tien Kuei talks to Chia-yu about carefully choosing her husband. She advises her to think over clearly about Lang-hsien’s proposal. Lang-hsien does not lose heart at Chia-yu’s refusal. He would wait patiently for her to change her mind. Shu-chin is discomforted to see Chih-hao and Hai-min getting together again. On the other hand, Shao-hu has great confidence for Chih-hao.
