Inspired by "true events" - we all have our inner monster. And the shy and awkward Trace can't seem to shake his social anxiety that has been haunting him. But his world of isolation is altered when he meets Reese - who can be a bit of a big bad wolf. Trace falls hard for the soon to be married Reese in this fairy tale but sometime grim of a relationship between them.

Trace accepts a ride home from Reese - but before being taken home - Trace is offered a drink. Never in his life has Trace taken a sip of alcohol but Reese's inviting honesty makes any request from him impossible to deny.

While Reese's co-workers are moving on and away from him - he invests into his friendship with Trace. But as somebody who has been friendless most of his life - Trace doesn't really understand what it is about him that draws Reese in.

Once again viewers are brought into Reese's isolated world. We get to look in on the monster and his Steph's daily chit-chat. And also we see Reese get a taste of his own medicine.

Reese decides to push Trace out of his safe zone after learning about his anxiety. Trace embraces this new form of medication in multiple ways. As Reese grows closer to Trace he begins to push away friends and lovers.

Steph likes Trace, but so does Reese. Trace must face his monster in more ways than one. And Planet Fit reaches out to Reese with a possible solution to the opened-safe-saga.
