Laurie Bass vs. Joseph Bass

Laurie and Joseph met at an AA meeting 17 years ago. Laurie remains devoted to AA, but Joseph no longer attends meetings and suffered a relapse since they've been married. The couple has grown apart and instead of the sleeping in the same bed, Joseph sleeps on the kitchen floor with the dog.
