Scars and Nightmares

The exclusive episode begins with Iain agreeing to visit a fellow former soldier, who he served with in Afghanistan. Persuading Sam to accompany him to the hospital where Kenny is being treated, they are surprised to discover it’s not a veterans’ hospital, but a rehabilitation centre for soldiers suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Inside the centre, Kenny welcomes Sam and assumes she and Iain are now together. He reminds her of all the letters Iain used to write to her, much to Sam’s confusion as she never received any. As Iain struggles to confront his own past the bond between him and Sam deepens. And when Sam has to make a call to Tom, will she tell the truth about where she is and who she is with?
