Sean McCarthy

Born on August 15, 1993, in Los Angeles, Sean McCarthy was the rhythmic heartbeat of the rock duo Moon Walker. As the band's drummer, McCarthy was essential in crafting the high-energy, funk-infused psychedelic rock sound that defined the group since its formation in 2020 alongside Harry Springer.The duo's chemistry began years prior in their previous band, The Midnight Club. In Moon Walker, McCarthy’s precise and groovy drumming provided the perfect foundation for their viral hits and vintage-inspired aesthetic. His performance was a staple of their early success, helping the band gain a massive following during the pandemic.In late 2022, it was confirmed that McCarthy had left Moon Walker, leading Springer to transition the project into a solo venture. Despite his exit, Sean’s impact as the original drummer remains a core part of the band's identity and early records.
