Arbeit Und Film was an independent film group in Frankfurt am Main that existed from 1974 to 1984 and screened and produced documentary films about labor struggles. Its members included filmmakers, students, workers, and apprentices. In the tradition of political “workers’ films” of the 1970s, the group sought to develop and use “film as a weapon in the labor struggle.”
