Kiran K R is an emerging filmmaker from Palakkad currently pursuing his post-graduation in Screenwriting and Direction at the K. R. Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts, Kottayam. He holds a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from St. Thomas College, Thrissur, and has completed a one-year diploma in Film Direction from New Wave Film School, Kozhikode.With a passion for storytelling rooted in visual nuance and emotional depth, Kiran has directed several short films that span a range of themes and styles. His body of work includes Shutter (2015), Past Present Future (2016), Noah’s Ark (2017), Oxymoron (2020), Atom (2020), Parakaayam (2022), Agrahastham (2023), Pythagoras (2023), and his latest project, Kalavu (2024).
