Juan José Posso

Colombian Director, screenwriter, and editor who sees family, childhood, and the simplest individual experiences as territories where profound emotional questions are born. His sensitive gaze—guided by observation and tenderness—seeks to understand and heal the emotions that shape the ways we inhabit the world. Co-director and co-writer of Cuando la tierra arde, selected for the sixth University Competition at the Marinilla Film Festival (2024) in Antioquia, Colombia and other regional festivals. He begins his solo path with Arrullos de Sol, a short film that explores maternal grief through a supernatural drama influenced by Afro-Colombian mortuary rituals.
