URU is a Japanese Sound Producer, composer, arranger, remixer, bassist managed by Sony Music Publishing (Japan) Inc.. Do not confuse with Uru, a female singer, who is also Japanese. in 1996, he signs a contract with major record label, “Nihon Columbia”, as one of the members of R&B group,“IZ”.Two years later, in 1998 he leaves the group to become a Freelance Sound Producer,Composer, and Remixer. Since then he has produced and written songs for a wide variety of artists, such as, (Pop/R&B) Ken Hirai, Yoshi,(Rock/Hiphop) LiL’Ai, (Jazz/Bossa) Orange Pekoe and many others. In 1997 he also starts to get involved with the Korean music scene, and recenty has signed a production deal with a Korean record label. In April of 2002, he invests in a private recording studio in Shinagawa-Ku and names it, “blue velbet studio”. His company “BIZM inc.”was founded in November of the same year.
